Tim sent this over the other day and I totally slacked and forgot to post it. My bad Tim. Anyway check it out. The younger guys are really starting to kill it around Southeastern Ma. these days. Riding and filming wise.

Been up-ing my video posting game lately and to be honest I don’t have time to watch/post every video that’s worth a view out there. So I’ve decided to have a few of the T&F guys post on here as well. For now Justin Gamache and Brandon Christie will be adding videos to T&F as well as myself. Having a crew will add to the quality of what gets posted on here. Forward we march….
Emalie Flynn came up with this radical design. So it had to be the follow up to last year’s Dawn of the Shred T we did. Based on the old tyme “Tales from the Crypt” comics. I’m pretty excited about these, being a big zombie fan. I mean what’s better than tabletops and zombies? They are available today for pre order in the T&F webstore. They will be available right around Halloween. Grab yourself one! Click on the picture to order yours today. Thanks!
One week from today the entire BMX community will descend upon Danielson Ct. for the New England Jam Chowda event. Pretty pumped to be a part of something so historic for the scene. We’ll have our obstacle and booth. We’ll also be selling limited press shirts too. Mostly, the T&F crew will be there to have fun!
Here’s the address for the event: 44 COTTAGE ST, DANIELSON CT 06239
It’s $10 each admission.
Also here’s the flyer with more info. Click on the flyer to take you over to the official site.
And here are the ramp/obstacle set up, and limited press T’s:
Finally after a few months, I have a small batch of prototype sprockets to test. They are a very simple design based of our sprocket logo. I wanted to keep them simple. The first run is 7mm thick with the T&F milled 2mm deep. Well you might ask why I felt the need to make a sprocket? I didn’t really see a need too, but I have a machinist friend and he and I got talking about it….so I figured what the hell. The only thing I thought could be improved on sprockets were the teeth.
I designed the teeth on this to be different than most of the other sprockets on the market. Two things that are fairly unique about them are the teeth are squared off more than most, making them stronger than the pointed ones that come one most other ones of today. Secondly the ridge where the chain sits(under the teeth) is 1mm thicker so when you hit your chain on something it has a support under it, instead of being forced to “roll” off. These two things make for a stronger tooth, better chain seating, and ultimately are gonna make your chain last a bit longer if you like to grind or hit your sprocket on stuff.
The testers are made from 6061, and I’ll be testing different finishes to see which is the most durable. No real set date on release for these things just yet. If testing goes well, and I feel like there’s nothing I wanna tweak then maybe Spring 2013. Below is a picture of a raw one. Be a few weeks before I have the rest ready for pictures, but here goes nothing…..
Thursday’s have become quite the session. I usually wake up to a text from one of the guys asking where this week? In fact my phone pretty much goes nuts all day from random people asking me what’s the deal? We’ve been consistent throughout the year with these Thursday nights, with no end in sight. Pumped to think that so many people are into the session. Anyone who thinks there’s not a scene around Southeastern, Ma. better open their eyes. We rolled close to a dozen deep last night and had a good time. Yea maybe sometimes the sessions are slow and we don’t find anything. But that’s all part of the game…search out spots and ride what comes your way. We must be doing something right….check the pics!
Cool little edit from a few local guys.
Can’t stress enough how psyched I am for this to come out. The trailer is nuts! Watch it over and over!
