This weeks table has a little more to it than the usual.. This week we have Matt Coplon from Florida. I met Matt many years ago, when we used to frequent there (Florida) when the Winters got crazy here. He was a local ripper at the now defunct “Central skatepark” in the Tampa/Clearwater area. We used to ride with him whenever we were down there. Over the years Matt and I have become friends and we have kept in contact. Today Matt has a bunch of stuff going on, he works at Profile racing and he is the team manager for the Profile/Madera teams. He’s always out riding and I enjoy seeing pictures of him shredding! To check out what Matt has going on down in the Sunshine state, check www.tbrbmx.blogspot.com
Matt wrote the following about these pics he’s sent in: “The first part of this story is the curb and its significance. There are no curbs like this in Tampa. We get the really steep curbs that are almost unrideable. Perfect for directing the monsoon rains we get in summer time. This curb in particular has a slight tranny into it making it really fun to, well, I guess technically air. Only found it about three weeks ago cutting through an old neighborhood in Tampa. Fun is in the simple things…
The second part is of the two tabe variations. I have had the hardest time learning regular tabes. Although I’m still working on em’, this spot proves to be a place where I do figure eights (by myself), regular tabing up the street, turning around to do an opposite one back to the bottom of the hill.
I love spots like this, just puts a nice big smile on my face.”
Got a table sent over by Dave Erecitano from Sparky’s distro down in Florida! Ripping at a park that just started letting bikes in. Shot by Scott Towne. Thanks Dave!
This weeks table was sent over by Chris Traverse it’s of his buddy Brendon Kennedy and it has a pretty funny story to go along with it….via Chris: KENNEDYS WORDS!!!! ” I have been riding past that hip for years and we finally stopped and cleaned it up a little yesterday, which got the attetion of two cops across the street… so they started watching to see what I was doing so I blasted a huge look back and they started screaming do it again over the cruisers loud speaker it was hilarious”
The table of the week is by far the most talked about and viewed thing on this site. To say that’s it’s been a success would be a serious understatement! We’ve been getting more and more emails with radical table pictures every week! Pumped that it’s caught on! Huge thanks to all that have sent in one! Keep it up!
This weeks might be one of my favs I’ve gotten in awhile! Super rad picture and dope table. Featuring Matt Fisbeck killing it! Shot by Ric Ramirez.
Decided to switch it up and start doing a video TOTW once and awhile. I’m still excepting and posting pictures but I figured we’d step it up a bit. Ryan Lively shares the same love for the table as I, and he locks into them so nice that a picture sometimes doesn’t show how rad it really is. So here it is the very first video Table of the Week!
